Catastrophes are often televised throughout the world. Such events may undoubtedly leave people feeling perplexed and distressed. The response to disasters can be varied due to ominous reports. However, the Lord does not want us to be alarmed.
During tough times, we need to turn to the Lord and be constant in prayer (Romans 12:12). Let us lift our voices to our Heavenly Father today because He is all-knowing (Psalm 147:5) and able to deliver his children out of suffering.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
– PHILIPPIANS 4:6 (ESV)
