Should I Keep a Christian Journal?

Notebook and Diary

These are uncertain times. Questions like, “Will I get sick? Will I lose my job?” plague the minds of many. The anxiety produced by these stressors may negatively impact one’s state of mind and even health. That’s why it’s crucial to engage in stress release activities regularly.
Journaling is an ideal way to recenter one’s thoughts and refocus on God in a chaotic world. The act of writing can provide a cathartic release, and there is no obligation to create a flawless finished product while journaling as it is personal. Best of all, no matter how busy you are, you can fit journaling into your Christian life. Whether you set aside five minutes a day or three hours a week, you get to decide how journaling can help your spiritual growth by recording what you learn from God’s word to noting down inspirational scriptures and quotes.

Want to try journaling for stress relief or to document your faith journey? Explore our journal and notebooks to make the most of your experience.
